Kefalos is a town located on the southwestern part of the island of Kos, which is part of the Dodecanese group of islands in the southeastern Aegean Sea, off the coast of Greece. This is a charming town known for its beautiful beaches with golden sands and crystal-clear waters. The town of Kefalos itself has a quaint village atmosphere with narrow streets, traditional Greek architecture, and a relaxed ambience. On this Jeep tour, you will travel off-road and explore more unique locations in Kefalos.
The adventure begins with pick-up from your specified location in Kos, where you will be welcomed into a comfortable 6-seater Jeep by the experienced guide. The guide will start driving through Plaka Forest, a lush paradise full of towering trees and serene nature. Next, you will travel to the traditional Honey Museum. Here you will learn about the fascinating world of beekeeping and honey production. You’ll also get the try some of the region’s finest honey!
The next stop on the tour is Agios Ioannis Chapel, a hidden gem in Kos with stunning panoramic views. Take in the stunning scenery of Kefalos while capturing some memorable photos at the chapel's picturesque setting. After visiting the church, you will head to the beautiful Cavo Paradiso beach. This stunning setting with crystalline waters is the perfect spot for a swimming break! Cool yourself down in the refreshing sea while marvelling at the views from this stop. After, you will visit another beach, Theologos. Capture some fantastic pictures of the coast from this location.
To finish the Jeep adventure, you will travel to Limnionas for a lunch stop. At this bay, you will have another mesmerising view of the turquoise waters. Enjoy a delicious Greek meal and a glass of wine while taking in the peaceful atmosphere. After lunch, you will travel back through the rugged wilderness to your starting point in Kefalos.
