Course of events
The hike will take you to the tallest rocks of Meteora, 400 meters above the town of Kalampaka, via an ancient path that winds around the rock of Great Saint, a huge rock complex that was a crucial part of the town below's ancient defenses thousands of years ago.
Activity requirements
- No previous rock climbing experience is required.
- This tour requires reasonable physical and mental health on behalf of all participants.
- You are expected to respect the holiness of the spot, keep it clean and seek the right balance between tourism and spiritual activities as there are monks who pray throughout the day.
