Theologos is a coastal village located on the Greek island of Rhodes. It boasts a beautiful beach with sandy shores and crystal-clear waters. Rhodes itself is the largest and most popular of the Dodecanese group, located in the southeastern Aegean Sea. This is the perfect spot for learning how to windsurf!
You can choose a course that suits your level at the surf & kite centre at Theologos Beach. The latest, high-quality equipment is available to use for the training courses. At the centre, you can also make use of the facilities, including sweet-water showers and restrooms at the beach, a seating and chill-out area with WiFi, a beach bar, sun loungers, and food and drink available. No previous experience is required if you want to learn how to windsurf. In small groups with the latest training materials, you'll learn how to windsurf in no time!
On the beginner's course, the certified instructor will start with the basics of windsurfing. You will begin with the theory and a practice session, before heading out on the water. The Meltemi wind blows in this area, giving power to your sails. In the morning, the wind blows a little bit slower and is optimal for beginner windsurfers. On the full 9-hour course, you will be able to get your VDWS certification and become a certified windsurfer. The internationally recognised VDWS officially certifies basic knowledge in windsurfing and gives the holder the right to go windsurfing anywhere on the globe. Additionally, you can avoid difficult situations when you are renting equipment.
On the advanced course, previous windsurfing experience is required. The instructor will help you improve your technique and teach you any new skills or tricks you would like to learn. The wind picks up in the afternoon, creating ideal conditions and stronger waves for advanced riders. The guide will help you become an expert at windsurfing! In between sessions, you can take a break at the centre and use all of the facilities.
