Practical information
Access to the entire park for the day (from 9.30 am to 6 pm), including the possibility of settling under a carbet (unless a sign indicates that it has been reserved).
Visitors who wish to do so can rent a small barbecue at 5€ for the day (depending on available stock) and bring their own small bag of charcoal or buy one of 8L on site for 4€.
Activity requirements
Babies must be in baby carriers and not in strollers.
Pets are not allowed.
Special terms
For people with reduced or difficult mobility, the park offers a flat rate of 4€ round trip or 2€ for any trip in the park. This service will be provided by the Park's service vehicle.
In case of severe weather disturbances, access to the Queue à Cheval waterfall or even to the Park could be suspended for the safety of all.
In the park, only headphones or earphones are allowed to listen to music or radio: in order to protect the Guadeloupean woodpeckers and the American rattlesnakes that live naturally in the park, devices that emit loud noise are prohibited.

Looking for a relaxing and discovering activity near the Cousteau Reserve in Guadeloupe? Opt for a little hike in the Parc de la Source in Bouillante!
The Parc de la Source is located in Basse-Terre, at the level of the Côte sous-le-vent. Covering 10 hectares, it offers several hiking trails and other activities to allow you to spend pleasant moments with family or friends in Bouillante, near the famous Cousteau Reserve! Whether you like walking and adventure or you prefer to relax around a good picnic in front of a magnificent view of the Guadeloupean west coast, the Parc de la Source is suitable for everyone.
Along one side of the Bourceau River, the park offers different hiking trails to help you discover the Guadeloupean rainforest and the mountain streams that cross it. You will then observe some small local jewels like the Queue de Cheval, a 20 meters waterfall under which you can take a short break for a swim; the Bouillante spring, a key point of the park; a nursery dedicated to the plants of the mesophilic forest and agroforestry; or even breathtaking views of the Pigeon islets!
Whether you plan a half-day of active hiking or want to take your time by strolling through the Parc de la Source throughout the day, your visit to the park will be done at your own pace so that you can fully enjoy the environment of Bouillante!

C'est une belle balade très sympa qui permet d'en apprendre plus sur la culture de la vanille, et permet de se balader en forêt, de se baigner à la (très belle) cascade. Le prix me semble un peu élevé quand même, même si on imagine très bien l'investissement qu'il y a eu pour créer le parc...
