Activity description

Discover sailing in the sublime setting of the Saintes archipelago during a 2 hours catamaran trip!

Voil Ô Saintes offers you the opportunity to discover sailing in the archipelago of Les Saintes, a group of 9 islands in the south of Guadeloupe. A small corner of paradise, still wild on a large part of it, the Saintes offer a magnificent setting to learn how to sail a small 8 meters sport catamaran!

The instructor, Arnaud, will propose you to set the sails together at the start of the trip in Terre-de-Haut before explaining you how to maneuver the catamaran. You will then be able to take the helm under his supervision to go to Terre-de-Bas! This introduction to sailing in the Saintes archipelago will also include a short snorkeling break in Grande Baie where you may encounter sea turtles. And before going back to Terre-de-Haut, you will be able to sail in the bay of Les Saintes to fill up with the sensations of speed and sliding!

If you want to enjoy a relaxing sailing trip in Guadeloupe, this catamaran discovery in the Saintes archipelago is the right activity for you!

Course of events

- Welcome at the pontoon in front of the restaurant Le Génois (about 10 m on your left when you get off the ferry from Guadeloupe)

- You will set the sails with the instructor who will explain how to maneuver the boat, then each participant will take turns at the helm during the descent to Terre-de-Bas

- Arrival at Grande Baie where you will anchor the boat to swim and snorkel in search of sea turtles, then enjoy a little refreshment

- You will then tack in the bay of Les Saintes before returning to Terre-de-Haut
