Activity description
Come have a view of the amazing landscape, black sand beach, and visit the DC3 plane wreck in this quad biking tour. It is the perfect way to enjoy different and unique scenery formed by the volcano Katla which is now dormant under the icecap Mýrdalsjökull.
Your guides will receive you at the base and gear you up before giving you a safety debrief. From there you will head down to the black sand and the coast line, crossing a few small rivers on the way. We will then drive toward the old plane wreck to then return to the base.
Driver option: 1 quad for 1 single person
Driver + passenger option: 1 quad for 2 persons
Special terms
A valid driver's licence is required for those driving the snowmobile vehicle.
Please arrive 30 minutes before starting time of the tour.
