The Rio Selvano near Castelnuovo di Gardagnana in Tuscany is an exhilarating experience for you, your friends and family: slides, jumps, abseils and more!!

"Rio Selvano" is a fascinating canyon surrounded by limestone and two rivers which join together along the canyon. As the name "Selvano" suggests, the gorge is completely immersed in a green and luscious forest, largely untouched and wild.

Canyoning is a combination of natural slides, jumps, waterfalls and pools: pure adrenaline! Ideal for beginners, it doesn't require any specific technical skill: everybody can do it, even kids as young as 8! The activity lasts about 4h and 30 minutes (with 1.5 h in the water).

You will be supervised by a professional guide (groups limited to 4 people maximum). If you don't feel like doing some jumps or slides, there's always the possibility of skipping those parts.

Canyoning in the Rio Selvano: amazing activity, but the group of 18 people was too big. We expected to be alone with our group of 11 people.

This canyon is really nice and fun. Very lush and green, with lots of fun slides and jumps. We were with a small group of four people, so it only took about 2,5 hours (prep time not included).

Great half-day trek through the scenic Rio Selvano. We climbed, slid, jumped, and abseiled our way through the river canyon for about 3 hours. A lot of fun, and not too taxing.

The whole day was fantastic. The canyoning was so much fun and there were possibilities for avoiding the bigger jumps for those who were less confident, which meant the whole family could really relax and enjoy the incredible scenery together.
