The best outdoor activities in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana

Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is a picturesque town and commune in the province of Lucca in Tuscany, central Italy. It is located in a particular area: the Garfagnana valley that is crossed by the Serchio and Turrite Secca rivers among the Apennine Mountains and the Apuan Alps.

In fact Garfagnana is characterised by lush green valleys and the mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park in the east and the Apuan Alps in the west.
