Private Buggy Excursion in Madeira’s mountains and Laurissilva Forest from Funchal

Please allow 3 hours and 45 minutes in total for this activity.

• Welcome in Funchal: Meet at the agreed spot 10 minutes in advance, quick introductions. Driver licenses are checked for drivers.
• 10-minute Buggy briefing: Controls and safety rules explained, short practice to get comfortable.
• Depart for a 3.5 hour buggy tour in the mountains of Madeira.
• Drive to the mountains: Leave Funchal as a group, enjoy the views while heading up to the start of the off-road tracks.
• Off-road adventure: Ride on dirt trails and forest paths, with bumps, turns, dust and sometimes light mud. Scenic viewpoints along the way.
• Photo stops: A few short stops to take photos and videos, and hear a bit about the area from your guide.
• Return & wrap-up: Easy drive back to Funchal, return the buggy and gear, quick debrief and info on how you’ll receive your media.

Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.

All drivers must bring a physical copy of their driver's license.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the departure time.

Pick-up is available for this excursion (to be confirmed upon booking).

Participants must contact the instructor after booking to confirm meeting and pick-up time.

You can buy a disposable rain/dust poncho for 4€ on site.

GoPro photos and videos will be sent to you at the end of the activity.

The price is per participant. 2 buggies are available and they can each accomodate 3 people.

This activity is not accessible for pregnant women, people with back problems and people with reduced mobility.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
