Course of events
Please allow around 10 hours for the whole experience.
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Malta from 8 a.m.
- Crossing by private boat from Malta to Gozo.
- Departure for a 6-hour guided buggy excursion to Gozo at around 10.30 a.m. via various points of interest, including a lunch break (about 45 minutes), a free food tasting, a shopping break and, in summer, a swimming break:
- Qala Belvedere
- Ramla Valley and Ramla Bay
- Xewkija Rotunda Church
- Sanap cliffs (winter only)
- Xlendi Bay
- Dwejra (boat tour available for a supplement to be paid in cash on the spot)
- Ta’ Pinu National Shrine
- Marsalforn Bay
- Saltpans
- Victoria - the capital of Gozo
- Tour ends around 4.30 p.m.
- Crossing back to Malta on a private boat, with weather permitting, a scenic sail past Comino’s Caves and the Blue Lagoon
- Transfer back to your accommodation and end of the activity at around 5.30~6 p.m.
Activity requirements
Buggy drivers must be 21+ and hold a full valid driving licence. Provisional licences are not accepted. A driver’s licence and one other government-issued photo ID are required before the tour.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people, people with back problems or wheelchair users.
Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor directly to organise the pick-up point and time. Please note that pick-up locations are determined by the Gozo Pride Tours team and are not available at all hotels on the island.
Buggies are fully insured except for the first €500 excess, which is the driver’s responsibility.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
In cases of rough sea conditions, crossings between Malta and Gozo will be made via the Gozo Channel Ferry (no extra cost).

Your buggy excursion in Gozo starts in Malta, where you are picked up directly from your accommodation and transferred in another vehicle. You then cross the stretch of sea separating the two islands aboard a private high-speed boat, with the chance to admire Comino and its famous Blue Lagoon if weather conditions allow. Once on Gozo, the adventure truly begins with around six hours of sightseeing by buggy.
