Discover the Caribbean Sea and snorkel with the turtles at Anses-d'Arlet from a 50-foot catamaran!
Departing from the bay of Grande Anse d'Arlet, in the south-west of Martinique, this one-day catamaran trip takes you to the best snorkeling spots in Anses-d'Arlet: Pointe Burgos, Anse Noire and Anse Dufour are the best places to snorkel with the turtles in Martinique! With a small group of no more than 10 to 12 passengers on board, you will get the most out of your day in the Caribbean thanks to the various activities on offer.
Depending on what you want to do, you will be able to enjoy the scenery from the trampolines, jump into the water to snorkel with the sea turtles, discover stand-up paddling, and if you like, try scuba diving for a first dive, exploration or even a little training! (extra charge of 40€ to be paid on site)
Whether you are looking for a romantic moment with your partner, an extraordinary outing for all the family or a day of underwater exploration, this catamaran excursion including snorkeling with the turtles in Anses-d'Arlet is a unique experience you will never forget!
- Meeting with the crew on the Grande Anse d'Arlet pontoon
- Boarding and briefing for the day over coffee
- Departure for the first snorkeling site on the coral reefs between Pointe Lézarde and Pointe Burgos, off Morne Champagne (snorkeling equipment provided: fins, full-face or face masks, buoys, buoyancy aids, shorty wetsuits)
- Possibility of doing a first dive or an exploration dive for all those who wish (supplement of 40€ to be paid on site), bearing in mind that it is not necessary to know how to swim to do a first dive
- At the end of the morning, transfer to a second snorkeling site, usually at the back of Anses-d'Arlet, or if you prefer at Anse Noire or Anse Dufour
- Lunch on board (your own picnic or a BBQ prepared by the crew at 25€ per person)
- Launch of the 2 paddles in the afternoon with the opportunity to swim with the turtles
- Depart for a third snorkeling site and enjoy a friendly drink on board (rum)
- Return to the Grande Anse d'Arlet pontoon and enjoy a friendly drink (punches and arranged rums)
Activity requirements
If you wish to take the lunch package with the barbecue, it is necessary to contact the crew as soon as your reservation is confirmed.
A written parental authorisation is required for minors to take part in this activity without their parents.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
You have the possibility to book for scuba diving directly on site if you wish for an additional charge of 40€.
Special terms
It is not necessary to be able to swim to do this activity but it is important for safety reasons to inform the crew when boarding the boat.
Wild turtles are unpredictable; we cannot guarantee that you will see them during this activity.
It is possible to privatise the boat: please reserve 1 "boat" when requesting a booking.
