Practical information
- Pick up at your accomodation all over the island between 9 and 10 am (may differ depending on the departure time of the boat to Ile aux Aigrettes)
- Boarding at Pointe Jérôme to the Ile aux Aigrettes nature reserve
- Visit of the nature reserve of Ile aux Aigrettes
- Relaxation and lunch break at Blue Bay
- Visit of La Vanille Nature Park
- Last stop at the Gris Gris beach and its famous Weeping Rock
This tour lasts up to eight hours, and you can choose how much time you spend at each attraction (except for the portion dedicated to the visit of the Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve). Depending on the speed of your group, you may not have time to see all the attractions listed above. You will have the opportunity to stop for lunch, but the price of the meal is not included.

The south-east of Mauritius is famous for its large lagoon sheltering the Ile aux Aigrettes, an island declared a nature reserve in 1965 because of its unique fauna and flora that it is necessary to protect. Located between Mahébourg and Blue Bay, your visit to Ile aux Aigrettes will allow you to discover local plants and animals such as the pink pigeon, the giant Aldabra tortoise, or the ornate Mauritian day gecko, and thus make you aware of environmental protection.
After your morning on the Ile aux Aigrettes, you will have the pleasure to enjoy at your own pace the rest of your excursion in the south-east of Mauritius: free time to have lunch and relax on the beach of Blue Bay, visit of La Vanille Nature Park to admire a great number of reptiles and insects, and finally passage to the Gris Gris beach to see the Weeping Rock.
