Bergen is a picturesque coastal town located in the west of Norway. The town is known for its large harbour and rich history as a major trading hub during the Middle Ages.
Your adventure begins at the starting point in Bergen, where you'll be greeted by your experienced guide and driver. You and your group will set off towards the village of Vik and its stunning mountainous landscapes. You'll stop along the way to admire the incredible panorama from the Storesvingen viewpoint. Next, you'll visit the historic Hopperstad Stave church with a local guide. Constructed in 1130, it is one of the oldest stave churches in existence.
Your journey continues to Vik Harbour, where you'll board a boat for a 2-hour fjord cruise to Fjærland crossing the Sognefjorden, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. Take in the breathtaking views while enjoying a delicious lunch onboard (not included in the ticket price).
Upon arrival at Fjærland, participants have the choice to either explore this charming village (2-hour stop) or join a guided Glacier Museum and Bøyabreen Glacier tour. Then, you will board the boat again, heading back to Vik and continuing to the Tvindefossen Waterfall by minibus. At a height of 110 metres (360 feet), this magnificent natural phenomenon is steeped in local legends and myths, which your guide is more than happy to share.
