Set out on an adventure of a lifetime on this guided Northern Lights photography tour from Svolvær in Lofoten! Welcoming Aurora hunters ages 18 and up.

Located in Northern Norway, within the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten Archipelago is known for its numerous islands, islets, and majestic fjords. What better way to capture photos of the dancing colours of the Aurora Borealis than by joining a guided Northern Lights photography tour in Lofoten from Svolvær? 

Over 5 hours, you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) will explore Norway's remote wilderness on Gimsøy Island with stops at Gimsøy Kirke, Hov Beach, Gimsøy Bridge, Lyngvær, and Kabelvagmarka. (Please be advised that the tour's itinerary is subject to change.) Your professional photography guide is a seasoned Aurora Borealis hunter and employs the latest Northern Lights forecasts to drive you to the best spots for the evening of the tour. Throughout the tour, they are happy to help you set your camera settings and give you some insightful tips regarding how to frame your shot as well as take pictures of you and your loved ones. 

Your adventure begins at one of the listed meeting points in Svolvær (please specify when booking). You'll be greeted by your seasoned Northern Lights photography guide who will give a safety and itinerary briefing before setting off to one of the Lofoten Archipelago's most picturesque places, Gimsøy Island. With several stops on the itinerary, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the tranquillity of nature and take photos of the breathtaking Northern Lights! If weather conditions permit, you'll be treated to a roaring campfire with hot drinks and snacks. The perfect way to relax and savour the moment. At the end of your enchanting evening in Lofoten, you'll return to the original departure point in Svolvær.
