Activity description
A shorter version of the famous wet, wild and beautiful Sjoa river rafting trip!
The Sjoa river starts at lake Gjende in Gjendesheim in the Jotunheimen mountains in Norway's Jotunheim National Park. It flows east into the river Gudbrandsdalslågen over the traditional Heidal district in Gudbrandsdal.
Experience the most popular rapids of the Sjoa river in just a few hours. The class of this river is dependent on the water level, normally between grades 2-4.
Starting in the afternoon, you will enjoy the mild climate of the area. After a short introduction with a safety briefing, it's off to a one-of-a-kind experience!
Your guides are highly experienced who prioritise your safety and ensure that your trip is filled with fun and excitement. You will be able to surf the rapids in higher water while improving your technical skills when the water is lower.
Once back at the base you can take a hot shower and have a coffee/tea and juice while you look through all of the awesome photos that were taken on the trip.
