Feel the adrenaline all over your body with this rafting on the Paiva river in Espiunca, Arouca!

Arouca is located 1 hour away from Porto, in the region of Aveiro, a city known mainly for its geopark recognised by the UN since 2009. With an area of 328 km, Arouca offers impressive canyons for canyoning, walls for climbing or different rivers such as the river Pava, ideal for canoeing or rafting.

Rafting is the perfect sport for those who want to enjoy the nature and at the same time discharge energy and feel adrenaline, since thanks to the force of the currents and rapids you will descend a river aboard a boat. What if you try rafting on the Paiva river? The instructors of NatourWay, in Espiunca, will provide you with all the necessary equipment (helmet, neoprene, paddles...) to go down the Paiva river in one of their boats guided by an instructor. This is a level IV rafting, that is to say, advanced, but it is an activity accessible for children from 6 years old, as the instructor will guide you and give you all the necessary indications so that this rafting is completely safe. You will go down the ravine to the rhythm of the rapids that will provide you with a very fun time and along the way you will stop to jump or take a dip in the river. At the end of the descent, the instructor will take you by jeep back to the meeting point, where you can take a hot shower and a snack will be provided.
