An activity available all year round, rafting in the Minho River is an amazing option to have a day of soaking-wet fun!

With its powerful rapids, whirlpools and waves, the Minho River will be in charge on this rafting day. With an expert guide and all the necessary safety equipment, you will enter this body of water that will transport you through moments of adrenaline, laughter and, surely, delicious drenching to cool you down when it's hot.

Teamwork will be key throughout the activity, as everyone will have to contribute to the movement and navigation of this small inflatable boat. Of course, you'll have the instruction of your raft leader, an expert guide who has overcome the river's obstacles multiple times, but you'll need to be willing to do your part to complete the activity.

But don't worry, the challenging rafting sections will be short and fast, and then you'll have relaxing times on longer, calmer stretches where you can enjoy the beautiful natural views of the Minho River.

The activity is open to anyone over 6 years old, so its difficulty level is low, however, its level of fun will be very high.

Once the tour is over, you can take a hot shower, change and make a toast with the delicious wine of the region: the Alvarinho Quintas de Melgaço.

Practical information

Course of events

- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to the professional guide.

- Safety briefing and equipment with the material.

- Rafting: succession of narrow, short and fast stretches, followed by long stretches with calm waters to relax a little.

- After 3 to 4 hours of rafting, return to the meeting point to change and have a toast with Alvarinho Quintas de Melgaço.

Minors must have authorization from their parents.
