About the activity

Located just 1 hour by road from Lisbon, the Arrábida Natural Park — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — offers a unique vertical playground unlike anything else in Europe. It is here, in one of the "most beautiful bays in the world", that land meets ocean with rare intensity. By coasteering from Creiro Beach in the Arrábida Natural Park, you'll discover landscapes inaccessible by land, where the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic have carved out mysterious caves such as the Lapa de Santa Margarida. This stretch of coastline between Sesimbra and Setúbal is a geological sanctuary where marine biodiversity flourishes at the foot of towering cliff faces.

Your coasteering session from Creiro Beach begins with a speedboat crossing to reach the wildest coasteering sites in the natural park. Under the guidance of WIND's Level 5 Pro-certified instructors, you'll make your way along the coastline combining swimming, low-level climbing, and downclimbing. The absence of artificial devices such as zip lines or steel cables guarantees an immersive and authentic experience in direct contact with the rock and the surf. You'll explore secret beaches such as Ribeiro do Cavalo — true havens of peace accessible only from the sea.

The undisputed highlight of this coasteering outing in Arrábida is the series of jumps into the water, ranging from 2 to 8 metres in height. Every jump is optional, allowing each participant to push their own limits at their own pace in a safe environment. Kitted out with a full neoprene wetsuit, helmet, and buoyancy aid, you'll be perfectly equipped to enjoy the refreshing cool of the ocean. With groups limited to 10 participants per guide, progression is smooth and personalised — ideal for families or groups of friends.

Accessible for most of the year thanks to the natural protection provided by the mountain range against northerly winds, this excursion is a pure adrenaline adventure. The outing ends with a speedboat ride back to Creiro Beach, offering one last sweeping view over Portinho da Arrábida. Book your coasteering and speedboat session in Arrábida now and prepare for an unforgettable aquatic adventure south of Lisbon!

Great fun, very well organised and great fun. Lots of jumps into the sea, some easy climbs a look at a couple of caves and short swims as well.
