Course of events
Please plan to spend about 3 hours on site, including arrival, preparation, the activity itself, and wrap-up.
- Meeting and briefing at Bar de Bravães, activity explanation and equipment distribution
- Warm-up and quick balance and technique training on the riverbank
- Start of the ride on the Lima River, calm and safe pace
- Navigation and stops to enjoy nature and take photos
- Passage through gentle rapids with the guide
- Snack and hydration break
- Continuation of the route to the final point
- Arrival, equipment collection, and relaxation
- Return transport (if necessary)
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim and be able to paddle for 2.5 hours to take part in this activity.
All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants must sign a waiver form before the activity begins.

Please note that the transfer option is only available within a radius of 15 km around the starting point at Bravães Kayak Park, notably including Bravães, Lavradas, Ponte da Barca, Nogueira, and São Paio de Jolda.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant women, people with mental disorders and people with heart or respiratory issues.
The activity is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled or canceled in case of adverse conditions for safety reasons.
