Course of events
6:30 - Departure from residence
8:00 - Visit to the Grand Hazier vanilleraie in Sainte-Suzanne (admission €4/person)
9:15 am - The Niagara waterfall cascades into a large basin (swimming possible)
10h00 - Enter the Cirque via the Salazie road, with its cliffs, waterfalls and lush vegetation.
10:30 am - Stop to admire the Voile de la Mariée, one of the island's most beautiful waterfalls.
11h00 - Mare à Poule d'Eau, a tranquil stretch of water set in lush greenery
Lunch: Lunch in Salazie at the Petit Bambou restaurant, excellent Creole cuisine (approx. €25/person) OR picnic at Mare à Poule d'Eau.
2:00 pm - Visit to Maison Folio in Hell-bourg, nestled in a magnificent tropical garden
3:15pm - Visit to Hell-Bourg, a beautiful Creole village
5:00 pm - Departure from Hell-Bourg
Return to residence around 7:00 pm, weather and traffic permitting.
