Surfing Course at Cullen Beach on the Moray Firth

For this course, you'll take part in 5 lessons lasting 2 hours each. Please allow 2.5 hrs in total on site for each lesson.

• Check in.
• Meet your instructor.
• Get changed and head down to the beach for an introduction, theory and important safety info.
• After getting loose with a warm up you'll get in the water, where your instructor will give you personalised advice based on your ability and goals.
• You'll have about 1.5 hours water time, and the lesson will last about 2 hours total after you're changed and on the beach.

If you're a beginner, your instructor will cover beach & ocean safety, and introduction to surf equipment, wave selection and catching broken waves independently, and pop-up technique (standing up).

Depending on your level and the conditions of the day, you will move on to cover speed control, turning left and right, paddling out and the turtle roll, catching unbroken green waves, angled takeoffs, bottom turns, and cutbacks.

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

All children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

It is recommended you arrive with swimwear on (for under your wetsuit) as it makes it easier to get changed at the beach.

The time and date selected is for your first lesson in the block. You will receive a code in your confirmation email which will allow you to book your second and third lesson at a convenient time. This can be 5 consecutive days or spread out over a longer period as suits you.

The code is valid for 1 year from date of purchase.
