Take the time to discover La Digue at your own pace on a self-guided bike tour departing from Mahé or Praslin!

Visiting La Digue by bike is an experience not to be missed in the Seychelles, as this small island of less than 10 km² can easily be cycled around for a day. Departing from Mahé and Praslin (ferry transfer included), you can take advantage of this self-guided tour of La Digue to discover it at your own pace, with a total of 7 hours free to move around the island as you please!

Once you arrive on La Digue, a member of the team will give you your bike, as well as a map of the island so you can find your way around on your own. They will also be happy to answer any questions you may have and advise you on the sites to see, in particular the Union Estate Farm, for which you will be provided with entrance tickets. All that is left for you to do is organise your own cycling tour of La Digue! With its various heavenly beaches lined with turquoise water (Petite Anse, Grand Anse, Anse Cocos, Anse Union, etc.) and its tropical jungle, you will really appreciate being able to discover the island's beauty on your own!

Whether you simply want to enjoy the idyllic setting of the beaches by snorkelling in their crystal-clear waters or take a full tour of the island to discover every nook and cranny, this autonomous bike ride in La Digue is the perfect activity for visiting the island in a day from Mahé or Praslin!

Course of events

- Pick-up at the Creole Travel Services shuttle pick-up points (see Special Terms for list of pick-up points)

- Arrival at the Mahé jetty to take the ferry to Praslin (1 hour 15 minutes sailing time)

- Arrival at the Praslin jetty and disembark to take the ferry to La Digue (approximately 30 minutes sailing time depending on sea condition)

- Arrival in La Digue and meeting with a member of the Creole Travel Services team to collect your bikes and entrance tickets for L'Union Estate Farm

- Start of your 7-hour self-guided bike tour in La Digue

- Return of the bikes at the end of the 7 hours, then meeting at the jetty in La Digue 20 minutes before the ferry leaves for Praslin (approximately 30 minutes sailing time depending on sea condition)

- Arrival at the Praslin jetty to catch the return ferry to Mahé (1 hour 15 minutes sailing time)

- Shuttle back to the morning pick-up points and end of the activity
