Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater as you move around in zero gravity? It’s an extraordinary feeling that you’ll get to experience for your first dive!

Your underwater adventure takes place at Cyclops Islands Marine Protected Area in Aci Castello, about 20 minutes away from Catania. The reserve was created in order to preserve the unique ecosystem between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas. With a rich diversity of underwater flora and hundreds of species of algae, you'll have a remarkable experience exploring a new world on Earth. 

After meeting your certified SSI instructor and having a detailed briefing, you will gear up in the provided scuba equipment and learn more about what you’ll do underwater so that any initial doubts and fears will dissipate. Once arriving at the dive site, your instructor will review what you’ll need to do in order to make sure that your diving experience is safe, fun, and above all, an unforgettable first dive!

You will get to end your first dive with a small aperitif and to take home some photos and a video of your experience.
