Course of events

Please allow a total of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes for the whole experience.

Reception at the kitesurfing centre on the shores of the Stagnone lagoon (free car park, toilets and showers available on site)
Introduction to the instructor and administrative formalities (approximately 15 minutes)
Fitting out the equipment and briefing on safety instructions (approximately 30 minutes)
Start of the kitesurfing practical session (approximately 30 minutes)
At the end of the session, debriefing and equipment storage to end the activity

Objectives

During this introduction to kitesurfing, you will learn:

kite control,
launching and landing procedures,
body dragging in the water,
board recovery techniques,
water start,
first rides on the board,
upwind riding basics and independent navigation progression, etc.

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.
