Course of events
Please plan a whole day for this activity, including 8 to 10 hours of sightseeing.
Some walking is involved, typically around 1-2 hours in total, depending on the specific route and conditions.
- Meet your guide at Altitude Activities - Ljubljanska cesta 1, 4260 Bled, Slovenia.
- Start your journey through the scenic valley of Bohinj.
- 1st stop: Lake Bohinj.
- A short walk from the lake.
- 2nd stop: river Mostnica Gorge.
- 3rd stop: largest mountain plateau in Slovenia – Pokljuka. You will stop there for a traditional Slovenian brunch, a stew, and a dessert.
- Get back on the road through the valley of Radovna to the valley of Vrata.
- 4th stop: Hike by the river of Triglavska Bistrica, reaching the amazing waterfall Peričnik.
- 5th stop: Zelenci Nature Reserve.
- 6th stop : Kranjska Gora village. There, you can have some traditional Slovenian street food at the sparkly and traditional alpine village.
- Drive back to Bled.
