Fly over the beautiful Bohinj Lake with a certified instructor for awestriking views over the Slovenian mountains! Paragliding is by far one of the most serene ways of taking in the Slovenian panorama from the skies. With no engines or noise, let yourself breeze around the landscapes, above the Alps and the beautiful Lake Bohinj below. At this altitude, you may even catch a glimpse of the Adriatic Sea in the distance, to complete what is already a spectacular view.
You will fly with a certified instructor. Meet them at the paragliding centre by Bohinj lake, where they will take you up to the take-off point by minibus and cable car. Once you're there, it will be time to prepare yourself for the leap. Wing carefully laid out on the ground, and safely strapped in with your instructor, it will be time to set sail into the sky. Let your cares wash away as you take in the view. If you desire and if the wind allows, your pilot may even show you some basic elements of acrobatic paragliding during your flight for an extra dose of adrenaline.
You will finally land near the lake after 10-15 minutes in the air. Your friends and family will be there to cheer you on as you step back on solid ground, whether it be gracefully or with a slight thump.
The centre offers two different take-off spots at different altitudes depending on how long you wish to fly and what you wish to see. Take a look and book for a breath of fresh Slovenian air!
