Course of events
- Meet your instructor in Mozirje, just a short drive from Golte ski resort and the heart of the Savinja Valley. Meeting time is confirmed based on weather conditions and your availability.
- Get equipped and briefed on safety procedures, flight expectations, and the local wind patterns. You'll be fitted with a harness, helmet, and all required paragliding gear.
- Hop into a 4x4 vehicle for the transfer to the take-off site, located high above Mozirje in the foothills of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The ride takes 10 to 25 minutes, depending on the selected launch point.
- Prepare for take-off as your instructor sets up the paraglider. You'll receive final instructions before launching from an alpine meadow with panoramic views over the Savinja Valley.
- Soar for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on weather and thermal conditions. You'll fly above forests, rivers, and picturesque mountain ridges. Highlights include aerial views of the Sleeping Beauty mountain silhouette, Golte plateau, and Logarska Dolina in the distance.
- Land smoothly in the valley, where your instructor ensures a gentle touchdown and removes your gear. You’ll have time to review photos or videos taken during the flight, if you chose the media package.
- Wrap up the experience back at the meeting point in Mozirje, with the option to receive your personalised flight certificate or simply enjoy a post-flight chat with your pilot.
