About the activity

Approximately 2,500 million years old, the Magaliesberg mountain range is one of the oldest in the world. And to enjoy it to the fullest while getting your fill of thrills, why not try this 10-zip line course in Rustenburg, in the heart of the Magaliesberg Mountains? With a total length of nearly 1 km, this course, located about 30 metres above the ground, offers breathtaking views of the wildlife within the reserve, allowing you to immerse yourself completely in its environment!

Located less than a 2-hour drive from Johannesburg, this zip line course in the Magaliesberg Biosphere Reserve will allow you to discover the Ysterhout Kloof gorge, a gorge carved into the mountainside, in which it was designed. You will zigzag between 11 platforms along 10 zip lines, the longest of which is approximately 140 metres, under the supervision of 2 professional guides who will attach and detach you from the cables. You will then be able to enjoy your activity in complete safety, spending a total of around 2.5 hours outdoors on the course.

During this zip-line experience in the Magaliesberg Mountains, you will have the opportunity to observe the local wildlife while getting your adrenaline rush: impalas, klipspringer (small antelopes), reptiles, eagles, and many other species of all kinds that will enhance your adventure.
