If you love strong emotions, speed and feeling the world under your feet, we have the sport for you: skydiving! A parachute jump for the most daring and for which you do not need previous preparation.
Skydive La Mancha offers you a parachute jump at 4200 meters high from one of its airplanes seems risky, right? But don't worry, because it is a tandem jump, that is, you will be attached to your certified instructor by means of a double harness system and he will be in charge of opening the parachute at the right moment. You will find the team of instructors at the Ontur Aerodrome, in the city of Albacete, which in turn is only an hour and a bit from Alicante, Valencia or Murcia.
What does the tandem parachute jump consist of? It is a free fall from a light aircraft with an instructor. When you arrive at the Ontur Aerodrome, where Skydive La Mancha is located, you will meet your certified instructor who will explain the development of the activity, give you a briefing on the safety to take into account and equip you with the harness, the jump goggles and the parachute suit.
Once you are ready, it will be time to get into the plane and after about 15-20 minutes of flight enjoying the views of Albacete and the nature of Castilla La Mancha, it will be time for action! The freefall lasts about 35-45 seconds, during which you will reach a speed of 200 km/h. Afterwards, your tandem instructor will open the parachute, initiating a 5-8 minute descent or glide to the ground, the combination of adrenaline, the beauty of the landscape and the sensation of the descent is simply indescribable! On the ground, you will be met by the rest of the instructors who will help you to pick up your parachute.
