In the south of the province of Valencia, the Costa Blanca is a true paradise for water sports and relaxing by the sea. In fact, it is mainly for its beaches that visitors come here, without really giving much thought to all that the hinterland has to offer. But if you fancy a change of scenery during your seaside holiday near Benidorm, why not treat yourself to a horseback ride inland? You will get to discover a whole new side to the region, away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts and in the heart of unspoilt countryside. What’s more, you will share these moments with some lovely horses, which will make the outing even more enjoyable!
This horseback ride near Benidorm will take you on an approximately 1-hour and 10-minute exploration of the Costa Blanca’s hinterland, along an old river lined with reeds, the Río Guadalest. You will reach an artificial reservoir, the perfect spot to cool off with your horses on the hottest days. The experience will be led by a professional riding instructor, ensuring your complete safety throughout the activity. They will assign you a horse suited to your ability, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced rider, and will adjust the pace of the ride to suit the group’s level (trot and canter are possible for experienced riders). And to ensure you take home some lovely memories of the adventure, they will also take the time to photograph you on horseback using your smartphone or their own!
So, even though the Costa Blanca is famous for its beaches with their turquoise waters, don’t miss out on exploring its inland areas too – why not book this horseback ride near Benidorm?
