Gorgo de la Escalera is the perfect canyon for your holidays in the region of Valencia. Less than 1 hour away from the big city, and 1 hour and a half away from Alicante, this activity is ideal for the whole family and is available for the entire year.

Canyoning is an activity that involves going down canyons, through slides, or by jumping in mountains formed through water erosion. It is also a perfect way to explore all those hidden treasures of your holiday destinations. You will have to rappel down impressive waterfalls of up to 30 m, jump into amazing pits, swim and slide down natural slides. You will finish the activity in a lake where you can relax and enjoy nature.

The excursion will initiate you into the basic techniques needed for a canyoning descent. Before that, you will be shown the equipment in order for you to get familiar with it. You will be shown that canyoning is not an only outdoor activity, as you will be able to learn how to recognize the different features found in a canyon and its origins.
