Did you know that the highest peaks of the Iberian Peninsula are in sunny Andalusia? Just an hour and a half from the beaches of Motril and Almeria are the Pico Veleta (3,394m) and Mulhacen (3,478m) in the Sierra Nevada. This mountain massif, declared a natural and national park, is mainly known for its ski resort, one of the most important in Spain, with 120 ski slopes. If skiing is not your thing, why not take a hiking route through the Sierra Nevada?
The Los Cahorros de Monachil route, half an hour from Granada, is one of the most beautiful routes in the Sierra Nevada. It is a circular route of 6 kilometres suitable for all levels that will take you through natural pools, caves, narrow tunnels... Following the course of the Monachil river, which is crossed 4 times by hanging bridges that add excitement and fun to the excursion. On this adventure you will be guided by Attraversiamo Tour instructors who will provide you with hiking poles and take you from Granada to Monachil, where the route begins.

- Meeting with the instructor in Granada.
- Transfer by van to the start of the route in Monachil.
- Start of the circular route of 6 kilometres with a difference in altitude of 280 metres.
- You will cross the Monachil River via 4 suspension bridges.
- Return to the starting point and transportation back to Granada.
