Practical information
A 2-hour discovery-level canyoning experience in the Riera del Carme Canyon, including:
- 3 abseiling descents to a height of 10 metres,
- jumps that can all be bypassed,
- 4 natural slides.
Course of events
Please allow around 2.5 hours for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the instructor in the car park of the church of Santa Càndia
- Distribution and fitting of canyoning equipment
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- 15-minute approach walk to the canyon
- Departure for 2 hours of canyoning in the Riera del Carme Canyon, with abseiling, jumps (optional) and natural slides
- 15-minute walk back to the car park
- De-equipping and end of activity
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim and have no medical contraindications to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

The descent of the Riera del Carme Canyon will take around 2 hours, supervised by a qualified instructor who will ensure your safety and guide you throughout the experience. You will be equipped with all the technical gear needed for canyoning (helmet, harness, etc.) as well as a neoprene wetsuit and socks to protect your body heat once you are in the water, which is around 15°C. Then all you have to do is enjoy the adventure to the full, fully equipped and supervised for maximum safety!
