They will be waiting for you with the snowshoes and poles needed for the experience, distribute them and give you a moment to get ready, with a demonstration of how to put the snowshoes on your feet. Once you are ready, your instructor will give you tips on how to move through the snow with ease and let you practice for about 10 minutes before heading off to the circuit he has prepared for the day.

Once the group is ready, it's time to go! When you book, you will have the option to choose between a 1 or 2-hour experience. During the former, the hike will be short, but you will pass through beautiful icy landscapes such as meadows and snowy slopes before returning to the meeting point. Don't forget that the temperature in the Catalan Pyrenees varies between -5 and 10 degrees Celsius, so you should come prepared for the cold. The recommendation is to bring thermal or woollen clothing as a first layer, a woollen or polar fleece topper on top, and a third windproof and waterproof layer (jacket and trousers). Additionally, it is a good idea to bring sturdy snow boots, a hat, gloves, sunglasses if there is sun reflecting on the snow, and anything else you might need (medicines, water, snacks, etc.) to spend 1 or 2 wonderful hours on this snowshoeing excursion at La Molina Parc Aventura.
