One of the best areas for canyoning in Spain is undoubtedly the Basque Country, due to the wide variety of canyons, ravines and mountains in the interior of this region. In the municipality of Antoñana, in the province of Álava, you will find the Aguaque canyon which culminates in the Aguaque waterfall, perfect for getting started in the world of canyoning!
LogroAventura's instructors will guide you in this canyoning in Alava and will provide you with the wetsuit, helmet and all the necessary canyoning equipment to do this activity in the safest way. The route starts at the Oteo mill, a flour mill dating back to 1736, where you will be equipped and from where you will head towards the first abseil, 10 metres high. You will continue through narrow walls and pools until you reach a second abseil of 4 metres that will lead you to the famous Aguaque waterfall, which you will descend in an 8-metre slide! After the Aguaque waterfall, you will return to the mill in a 20-minute route. The Aguaque canyon is a fun 3 kilometre water canyon, perfect for both children and adults!
