Course of events
- You arrive at Diving La Casa del Mar, located directly on Fenals Beach in Lloret de Mar. Please be there 10 minutes before your scheduled session.
- After a warm welcome, you fill out the required forms and meet your instructor, who will stay with you throughout your discover scuba diving experience.
- You receive a 20-minute briefing covering safety procedures, how to use the scuba equipment, and basic underwater communication.
- Next, you change into your wetsuit and gear up with all the necessary diving equipment, with help from the instructor to ensure a perfect fit.
- Once ready, you enter the calm, shallow waters in front of the dive centre at Fenals Beach, a top diving spot on the Costa Brava.
- You begin with a few minutes at the surface to get comfortable with breathing through the regulator, clearing your mask, and using the fins.
- Then, your instructor guides you through a 45-minute introductory scuba dive along the coast, where you can explore sandy bottoms, rocky formations, and marine life such as octopuses and colourful fish.
- After surfacing, you return to the centre for a quick 5-minute debrief, followed by access to showers and changing rooms.
- Finally, your instructor shares your free underwater photos and videos, a perfect souvenir of your first dive in Lloret de Mar.
