Do you want to know what it feels like to fly in this skydiving activity? Now you can experience it by parachuting in Totana, Murcia!
Skydrive Totana offers you a parachute jump at 4200 meters high from one of their airplanes. Do not worry if it is the first time, because it is a tandem jump, that is, you will be attached to your certified instructor by means of a double harness system, so he will be in charge of opening the parachute at the right time.
The area chosen for the jump is the Totana Aerodrome, just 35 minutes from Murcia. An ideal location also if you are on vacation in Alicante or Almeria, because although in this case you will have to make an hour and a half drive, we assure you that it is worth it.
What does the tandem parachute jump consist of? It is a free fall from a small plane with an instructor. When you arrive at the Totana Aerodrome, where Skydrive La Mancha is located, you will meet your instructor who will explain the development of the activity, give you a briefing on the safety to take into account and equip you with the harness, the jump goggles and the parachute suit.
Once you are ready, it will be time to get into the plane and after about 15-20 minutes of flight enjoying the views of Murcia and the Mediterranean Sea, it will be time for action! The free fall lasts about 35-45 seconds, during which you will reach a speed of 200 km/h. Afterwards, yourskydiving certified instructor will open the parachute, starting a descent or glide to land of about 5 to 8 minutes. On the ground, you will be met by the other instructors who will help you to pick up the parachute.
