Activity description
Beginners are welcome on this ice climbing venture outside Abisko: get your crampons, harness, and helmet on and experience the Arctic at its icy coolest!
On this trip, you will get to discover ice climbing on an icefall outside Abisko. Your guide will pick you up directly from your accommodation, and from there it will be a short drive to your activity location. Once there, the guide will provide you with all the necessary ice climbing equipment, and give you a brief on how to climb vertical ice.
Once the instructions have been given, it will be your turn to get onto the ice and climb the 10 metre (32 feet) precipice! Get your core working on this icy Arctic venture, and enjoy unique views of the icefall and surrounding cliffs. On a clear day, you may even be able to see the Gate to Lapland!
Be ready for pick-up half an hour before the starting-time of the activity. Pick-up takes place at the receptions of the locations below:

Activity requirements
The climbing is very intense, but there is plenty of time to rest while you wait for your turn to ascend. You should not participate if you are mobility impaired in any way.
