Discover the charm and mystery of the Swedish Lapland driving your own pack of huskies in Vindeln, Ekorrsele, bordering the Swedish Lapland near Umeå and Lycksele.
During this self-drive trip, you will lead your own pack of 4-6 huskies on a wooden Oinakka sled, along wetlands and wonderlands of snowy forests and frozen lakes in the magical Swedish Lapland.
Your tour starts with a short introduction to dog sledding, followed by some practical mushing techniques. Now it is time to meet your new furry friends and set off for an unforgettable adventure!
Prepare to ride along some astonishing landscapes, snow-covered trails and roads and marvel at the overall beauty of the Swedish Lapland. Your hard-working team of Siberian huskies will be with you along the way, revealing the beautiful Swedish nature. Two people will share each sled, driving and enjoying the scenery at the same time. Drivers will swap during the tour!
Halfway through the trip, you will stop for a short break and enjoy a delicious homemade meal in the wilderness. If the snow conditions do not allow it, you will enjoy the delicacies in a small tepee back at the kennel instead.
