Kiruna is a town located in northern Sweden, close to the borders of Norway and Finland and right within the Arctic Circle. Kiruna is a popular destination for outdoor activities in the winter, due to its stunning scenery, vast untouched wilderness and snowy landscapes. Snowmobiles are a popular form of transportation in northern Sweden, as they allow you to discover more remote areas of nature.

The snowmobile tour in Kiruna begins at the starting point, where you will meet your experienced and friendly guide. You will receive a safety briefing and driving lesson, all experience levels are welcome! Snowmobiles will be shared in pairs, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch midway. Children will sit in a comfortable sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Once you have received your snowmobiling and Arctic gear, the snowmobiling in Kiruna begins!

You will set off driving through the beautiful nature along the Torne River, getting off the main track to get closer to nature, passing by forests, lakes and mountains. Midway through the excursion, you will stop at a wooden cabin, sitting on reindeer skins around an open fire while the guide serves local Lappish delicacies. This is a good opportunity to learn more about this remote Arctic area and the history of the region. After switching drivers, you will snowmobile back to the starting point.

The journey was perfect. and our route crossed forests and a lake. The lake was frozen , so we could drive very fast on the ice. The top speed could reach 70 KM per hour.
