Enjoy the awe-inspiring Northern Lights and the spectacular view from the top of Mount Ednamvárri on this all-inclusive snowmobile safari from Kiruna. Welcoming adventurers ages 4 and up!
Located in Swedish Lapland, Kiruna is known for its remote location within the Arctic Circle. In addition, the vast expanse of wilderness surrounding Kiruna is perfect for viewing the incredible natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights. What better way to witness the Aurora than on a thrilling snowmobile safari in the company of an experienced guide?
Your adventure begins in Kiruna, where you will be picked up from one of the listed locations (please specify when booking). Upon arrival at the Máttaráhkká Northern Lights Lodge, you and your group (a maximum of 20 participants) will be outfitted in winter gear, including a down coat, winter boots, pants, gloves, and a hat. Depending on the Aurora forecast, you will enjoy a delicious 2-course meal before or after the snowmobile tour.
Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will provide a safety briefing and an introduction to snowmobiling. Please note that children aged 4-6 will either be pulled in a covered sled behind the guide's snowmobile or be seated as a passenger. Once you've put on your helmet, you'll set off into the night, traversing the wilderness of Swedish Lapland towards Mount Ednamvárri. After reaching the summit, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view and the dancing colours of the Northern Lights. Your guide will take photos, which will be sent to you after the tour. In addition, you'll sip on a warm beverage and savour the moment, while taking in the incredible scenery and the Arctic sky. You'll return to the Máttaráhkká Northern Lights Lodge and board the transfer back to Kiruna with memories that will last a lifetime!

Activity requirements
Please note that all drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a tractor permit otherwise, drivers must be in possession of a valid driver's license (B permit).
In addition, children between 4 and 6 years old will be seated in a covered sled behind the guide's snowmobile or they will be a passenger on the snowmobile.
This tour features 2 people per snowmobile, if both have a valid driver's license they may switch and take turns driving.

Please be advised that since the Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon, their presence is never guaranteed.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request. In addition, dietary restrictions and allergies can also be accommodated, please specify when booking.
Dinner will be served before or after the snowmobile tour, depending on the Aurora activity.
