Attention all animal lovers! Learn more about Siberian huskies while walking with them in the Swedish wilderness on this unique, 2.5-hour excursion in Vedjeön! The perfect family-friendly outing, this experience also includes delicious waffles, as well as coffee or tea around a roaring fire!
Your adventure begins after meeting your friendly and knowledgeable guide at Nordic Husky Farm. After a brief introduction, you'll tour the kennels and meet the pack of adorable and friendly Siberian huskies! You'll also learn about sled dogs and their day-to-day lives. After you've picked your favourite four-legged companion, you'll head out on an easy, guided hike through the lush forests and hills that surround the farm. This beautiful landscape also includes marshes, little lakes, and creeks with a variety of flora and fauna.
Midway through your 5 km (3-mile) walk, you and your group will take a short break at a picturesque spot near a lake. Don't forget your camera! Available from May until October, this husky walking tour has morning and afternoon departure times, for your convenience, with a maximum of 8 participants.
Along the way, your guide will share stories of the region as well as life with over 35 Siberian huskies! Upon your return to the farm, you'll return your furry friend to their kennel. Then, you'll be treated to a roaring fire, coffee/tea, and delicious homemade waffles. In addition, local delicacies and handcrafts are also available at the gift shop.

In addition, the walk with the huskies takes approximately 1 hour.
