Embark on an exciting journey along the Stockholm Archipelago, visiting the magnificent Grinda Island on a thrilling inflatable boat tour. Welcoming adventurers from ages 12 and up!
Stockholm is the capital city of Sweden, situated along the east coast of the country. It is known for its historic significance, stunning architecture, cultural richness, and vibrant atmosphere. Stockholm is also home to an expansive archipelago, a stunning maritime landscape located in the Baltic Sea consisting of thousands of islands, islets, and skerries. On this rigid inflatable boat (RIB) tour, you’ll explore this amazing natural wonder!
The tour begins in central Stockholm, where you will be picked up by the experienced guide. They will go through an introduction and safety briefing, and you’ll receive your clothing for the tour (life jacket, goggles, a hat and warm overalls). The group is small with a maximum of 12 passengers in the speedboat, to ensure a dedicated experience from the guide. You’ll get seated in the comfortable, sturdy inflatable boat and set off along the archipelago!
The Stockholm Archipelago is known for its pristine landscapes and rugged coastline. It is home to thousands of lush islands, both inhabited and uninhabited. Take in the panoramic views and feel the rush of adrenaline as you speed across the sparkling waters! The guide will share stories about the history of the archipelago and the historic sites and houses that you pass along the way.
You’ll arrive at Grinda Island, one of the many picturesque islands located in the Stockholm Archipelago. It is a nature reserve owned by the Archipelago Foundation, so there are no privately owned properties on the island. You’ll have 2 hours to explore the island’s beaches, woods, restaurants and farm, a unique opportunity to discover a stunning Swedish setting! After, you will travel back to the starting point in Stockholm.
