Your winter bike tour begins with a friendly greeting from your professional guide in Interlaken. Together, you'll set out on an easygoing 2.5-hour round trip, designed for participants of reasonable fitness levels. You'll be equipped with a mountain bike fitted with snow/ice tyres, ensuring your safety and enjoyment in the winter conditions.
The route takes you alongside the turquoise Aare River, offering stunning views of the crystalline lakes of Thun and Brienz. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to explore Interlaken's old town, visit 13th-century castle ruins, and experience the charm of the traditional Swiss village of Bönigen.
One of the highlights of this journey is a lakeside Swiss hot chocolate stop, a true treat for your senses. As you pedal through a combination of paved roads and wide gravel paths, you'll appreciate the absence of hills or technical trails, making this tour accessible to a wide range of participants.

Activity requirements
- Participants should be of reasonable fitness and able to confidently ride a bicycle.
- This tour is not suitable for individuals with knee, arm, back, or shoulder injuries.
- Children under 10 years old are not eligible to participate.
- Children joining should be capable of keeping up with the group of adults traveling at a steady pace.
- Tour participants are to meet at the Yellow Velo store, located in the heart of Interlaken, just a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. Be sure to arrive 10 minutes before the trip's start time.

- Warm socks, face/neck coverings, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottles, and thermal undergarments are available for purchase at the Yellow Velo Store. Winter footwear is also available for rent.
