How to find Hightide Kayak School
Hightide Kayak School is located directly on the shore of Lake Brienz at Am Quai 1, 3806 Bönigen, just across the road from the Bönigen See bus stop.
If you are arriving by public transport, take the local bus (such as bus 103) from Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West and get off at the Bönigen See stop. The base is located immediately across the street from the stop, making it easily accessible.
If you are travelling by car, you can drive to Am Quai 1 in Bönigen. Visitor parking is available nearby in the public car park on Parkstrasse.
If you prefer to walk, a scenic path along the lakeshore takes you from Interlaken Ost to Bönigen in around 30 minutes.

Weather
Please note that the tours run in all weather conditions provided that it is safe to paddle. Often the weather is better than forecast and part of the charm of the sport is experiencing nature in all the elements - even on a rainy day, the views and atmosphere are beautiful and dramatic. If conditions are unsafe to paddle in they aim to notify you as soon as the decision has been made and will try to re-schedule for the soonest opportunity.
