Oxygen paragliding or O2 paragliding was found by one of the top paragliding athletes in Greece, Vagelis Stamelos. A member of the National paragliding team who has participated in numerous international competitions found the paragliding centre in Plataies to offer paragliding classes and tandem paragliding flights.
Vagelis started flying for the first time back at 1998. From the first time he got in a tandem paragliding flight, he got the electrifying felling that he had to learn how to fly independent.
Three years later Vangelis had already conquered a national championship of paragliding in Greece, and started travelling abroad to explore new territories. He has flew in many famous paragliding spots like: Owens Valley, Annecy, Piedrahita, Tirol, Cornizzolo, Fiesch, St.Andre, Ibaraki, Tolmin and many more.
Being member of the national team for many years, and member of the team of ADVANCE Vangelis has more than 2500 hours of flying. Since 2009 he is also member of the Austrian team called NOVA.
Since 2013 he is offering paragliding courses for beginners, and tandem paragliding flights to share with you the incredible feeling of flying.
