Early Morning Whale and Dolphin Watching in the Lagoon of Mayotte

Sea Blue Safari offers you the chance to approach cetaceans while respecting the rules of approach in order to observe them without disturbing them.

The island of Mayotte or the island with the huge lagoon is the ideal place : close to the south-east coast of Africa, it is a wonder of nature with a lagoon of a richness : the lagoon is a real paradise.

Course of the activity :

The departure is at the end of the night, around 5.30 am ( depending on the season and the time of sunrise) from Mamoudzou to the cetacean research areas, a breakfast awaits you on board !

You will set off to search for and then approach and observe the behaviour of whales and dolphins, you will have the chance to swim with dolphins if sea conditions permit. Humpback whales are only present during the breeding season, from July to October.

Then comes the tasting of a Creole aperitif at the end of the morning on a heavenly islet.

The return trip will take place around 1.30 pm in Mamoudzou with lots of beautiful images in mind!
