Experience an unforgettable camel ride at sunset in the Agafay desert, near Marrakech!
The camel ride in the desert is the must-do activity during a stay in Morocco! Nothing better than to discover and cross the desert landscapes of Agafay from the top of the hump of this emblematic animal of the Sahara, especially when this outing is proposed at the end of the day, during sunset.
That's why Morocco Sahara Desert Travel proposes to pick you up at your accommodation to take you to the Agafay desert, less than an hour by car from the center of Marrakech. On the program: camel ride in the desert for about an hour, with photo stops to capture the sunset on the desert.
Accessible to all ages, this outing near Marrakech will delight young and old alike thanks to its contact with dromedaries, as well as the marvelous landscapes it offers, with notably a view of the foothills of the Atlas mountain range.
- Pick up at your accommodation in Marrakech about 2 hours before sunset, or meet at the meeting point if the car cannot reach your accommodation
- Drive to the Agafay desert (about 40 minutes) to join the camels
- Dressing for the walk: Berber touareg with a djellaba and a turban
- Stroll of about 1 hour on the back of a dromedary in the Agafay desert
- End of the activity and return to your accommodation or nearest point if it is not accessible by car
