Discover the marine life of the Aegean Sea on this guided snorkelling excursion near Heraklion and use a seascooter to cover a greater distance!
Suitable for children aged 10 and over, this guided snorkelling trip by seascooter to Mononaftis beach is an ideal way to explore the coast of Crete. All you need to take part is to be comfortable in the water! An experienced, professional guide will accompany you on your seascooter snorkelling trip near Heraklion. He will be with you to guide you and ensure your group's safety (3 people max per instructor).
Mononaftis beach is a popular spot for its diversity of marine life, crystal clear waters and shallow depths. Located just 25 km from Heraklion, Mononaftis beach is accessible and not very touristy. There, the average annual temperature of the Aegean Sea is around 20.8°C.
Using a seascooter will enable you to cover more distance more easily during your snorkelling near Heraklion, and thus see more marine life! The Aegean Sea is rich in flora and fauna, and there's nothing better than snorkelling in Agia Pelagia to observe it! What's more, you'll be discovering a whole new world, giving you a unique perspective on nature in Crete.
For this activity, Aquadive guides can collect you from your hotel and take you to Agia Pelagia, where your guided snorkelling excursion with seascooter will take place. Once you arrive at Mononaftis beach, the guide will introduce you to the activity and its equipment: fins, mask, snorkel and seascooter. You'll then set off for 45 minutes of exploration and discovery, snorkelling with a seascooter in Mononaftis Bay. At the end of the activity, you can be taken back to your hotel if you wish or leave with your own car.

Good swimming skills are not a requirement but you should be comfortable in water to take part in this activity.
All participants must sign a medical form before the activity.

Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor directly to organize the meeting point and pick-up time. The transfer service is not private. Pick up is around 09:00 am and drop off around 14:30pm.
Participants who wear glasses can bring their own mask adapted to their eyesight. Otherwise, please ask your optician if you wish to wear contact lenses during the activity.
