Activity requirements
It is preferably to know how to swim, but it's not necessary. For children it is also preferable that they are not afraid of splashing in water.
Special terms
Please note that rafting boats are used in case of high water levels.
Directions from Šibenik, Vodice, Biograd, Pakostane to Zrmanja River: Follow the old road in the direction of Zagreb and directions BENKOVAC - OBROVAC, and stay on that main road till OBROVAC, once on the big crossroad DO NOT TURN down to the town Obrovac but continue STRAIGHT towards Kaštel Žegarski once there just follow the signs RAFTREK to the start. Raftrek is the second agency when you enter Kaštel Žegarski so please follow the RAFTREK signs until you reach the base house
From Šibenik, Vodice it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes and from Pakoštane, Biograd about 1 hour.

If you like being outdoors and active, whether it is your first time holding a paddle or you are a canoeist with certain experience, Zrmanja canoe safari is the right choice for you!
Upon your arrival, the guides will help you with the preparation and you'll be given a waterproof barrel for your picnic, towels, water, sun cream, camera or any other personal item. Once you are ready, you'll get geared up in a life jacket, a helmet, a paddle (a neoprene suit and a rain jacket in case of colder weather) and in no time you'll be looking like a professional canoeist. Your trip leader will give you a briefing on the safety instructions and teach you how to paddle the canoe. Then you're off!
Paddle through rapids
During the first part of the excursion, which is calmer, you will get to practice your paddling skills. By the time you get hungry, you'll find yourself at the beautiful Krupa River for a self-brought picnic and swimming break.
After which you’ll paddle through rapids, go down waterfalls, swim and witness the beauty of nature at its fullest. The trip ends in Muškovci village and once you've changed into dry clothes, you'll be transferred back. No previous canoeing experience is needed. Even children from 6 years of age, accompanied by parents, can participate. You'll use a two-people sit-on-top canoes which are easy and safe to navigate.
